Singapore Best Dance Crew Semi-Finals!

Funky Groove and SAJ

from Semi to FINALS!

its time for the Semi-Finals at SBDC,
which Funky Groove and SAJ are inside!

at first, i came back home from my overnite prac for the DanceWorks'09 at Woodlands. finished around 5am and reached home at 6am. i took only 3hrs or less to sleep and then prepared myself. both groups went to Alif's house for the our song mix. and then my group juz finished the middle part of the song wif a help from Abang Faliq. THANKS ABANG!

and then went to JP dome to do our final prac for the comp. this prac was soooo exhausting! hehe... we didnt experiance this kind of prac. but its a GUD and LEARNING prac for me. Thanks Abang! this prac made think that 'WE REALLY NID TO DO OUR VERY BEST!'

ate at JP underground! CHICKEN,CHICKEN! hehe.... YUMYUM! and then tries out the stage, after that we changed into our costumes. and soon... THE COMPETITION STARTS!

the garls were no.1 and we were no.3. as we were watching the garls and the Roses, we were feeling the pressure now and during the performance, we were ENJOYING OURSLEVES! and then we watched the rest of the dance crew. i like SICK, JOYCE AND THE BOYS and some that i cant remember. feeling nervous while all of us were waiting for the results. but soon... THE RESULTS ARE OUT!

Funky Groove MADE IT THROUGH!
IM WAS SOOO HAPPY!
but, SAJ didnt!
i was like.... WAD THE HELL!
but at least they had done their best to make it tis far.
sooo... its ok SAJ, WE STILL LOVE YALL!
but CONGRATES also for the Roses!
soo... see u garls at the FINALS!

we, Funky Groove, will do it for SAJ, for the skool and for NUTS CREW!

went to her party at her house. that time i hav dance prac for a competition.... but i was sooo late. even if i came there, im already late. but at least i came to her arty to greet her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY MESSEGE! eheh.... her theme of her party is 'MASK'! hehe... sooo funnny. sooo all of us hav to wear a mask until she told us to take it off. hehe... sooo funny!

I CANT BELIEVE IT! From Miss Chan's scores.... Nanu Frico Jen got 1st for the project. YIPPEEE!!! beat Jeremy's group by 2 points. eheh... we didnt expect that this is goin to be the result for her. but its not yet an overall points. Ms Chan needs to add Ms Ng's scores too. they were the ones who judged us during the performance. to be honest, i thought that we didnt do well for the performance cause we made a VERY last minute changes.

and if it wasnt for Syafirah, this wont be HAPPENING! cause she told us that we were showcasing the freak character, but before that we were doin an act. lucky sya told us. hehe....

well.... lets juz see and hear wats the final score for my group and who will be performing on stage! hehe....

its time for the DanceWorks'09 Cat2. for secondary skools who wants to join tis Cat. the Groovy Garls and the Phat Nutz worked sooo hard for this competition and they showed us wat they got.

the teachers, the Nutz Crew and the audience were sooo impressed wif them!
they were great and better than those pracs that they hav gone through during the CCA!
we were screaming and shouting like mad!
hehe.... IM SOOO PROUD OF THEM!

Nutz Crew Camp!

juz nw was the dance camp for the Nutz Crew!
it was soo fun!
even though not all of the members came to the camp,
we still continue wif the camp.

grouping by ourselves..... there were:

hehe.... and we did our prac first and then our lunch before the fun BEGINS!
soon... we played Captain's Ball first.
my group got 2nd for it and Alif's group got 1st.
hehe.... at least second.
and the., we played Lollipop War!
hehe... that game was REALLY a SPLASH!
and my group got 1st!
HAPPY!

and then, Abang Jamyl had this section in the AVA Room wif Ms Nada.
this section really touched me and i want to thank Abang for having this activity.

Regretted of not goin to the OUTING

i really regret of not goin to the class outing.
i didnt know that the thing that im expecting to be serious is actually juz a 'sit there and watch'
he juz came in and dance in the dance floor.
ok... like the teaching the dance part... at least we hav something to put in.
but suddenly... i dont want to say....
sooo... i juz dance there and after the dance, nothing to do now.

tis is the reason y i didnt go for the outing.
i thought that we are goin to confirm something.
but then, i dont know lah.
hmph....

SORRY FOR WRITING THIS.
I JUS DONT WANT TO KEEP IT INSIDE ME!

its hard to make my own decision.
might not know if the decision will be ok or not.
i nid to SACRIFICE something.

sooo juz nw i wasted all the fun that im goin to get during the outing. wif my classmates and teachers of the class. the games that we are goin to hav and especially swimming in the water. but if only it was serious, im ok wif it. at least i did something more. but im feeling something tat i dont wanna feel again the next time. i mean really... i dont want this to happen.

WELL... at least i hav my new class tshirt even though i hav not paid for it and used for the outing. this one can be the item that i can keep for this whole year.

Happy 18th Birthday Alexis!

Happy Birthday Alexis!

went to Sheraton Towers at Newton MRT station. juz near to the station. this place is reserve for the special day for Alexis. Her 18th Birthday is today! eheh... i was alone that time. my sis went to somewhere else first.

i think i was one of the early birds who came to party. my sis gav me the wrong tower at first. and then i met TITO and TITA outside one of the tower which the thing that my sis wrote is near to the name. hehe... i was like in a relief. i followed them inside the hotel and went up to the party hall. this is third time goin to this kind of debutant. hehe...

soon, at 7pm, he party started.
at first, the introduction of the birthday GARL! next, DANCE... which was prepared by them. after that, the 18 roses(men) and soon, DINNER!

DINNER! WAH!!! there were alot of foods there and dont know wat to choose. to make things easier, i took most of them inside one plate. and there were deserts. YUMMY CHOCOLATES AND CAKES! eating like WAD sey...

after dinner time, its time for the 18 candles(garls) my sis was one of them... and her name juz called when she came. and then, one part of the party, me and my sis got ready for the performance that we were goin to present for the birthday garl. and soon, its OUR turn. after the performance we were tired and my inside is sooo cold and dry. outside we ate cause they hav not eaten yet. hehe....

IT WAS FUN!

P.S still waiting for the photos of the party and i dont know when im goin to get it.... oh well

im soo nervous!
Funky Groove and SAJ joined the Singapore Best Dance Crew!
there was a HUGE crowd there.
outside the new Jurong Point!
the path way to MRT station and the Jurong Point were blocked by them. imagine that... that means its already over thousands of people watching... dont know if im correct or wad... but i THINK SO!

Funky Groove is an all Boyz group,
and
SAJ is an all Garls group.

the garls go first and then us.
they were no.2 and we were no.8.
like that was long.... but still nervous.

the garls went off first. i dont know how they r feeling there... but their face can say already. ehe... but overall.. they did REALLY GUD! Amalia was like askin if their routine is ok... even thought we already told her that its ok. hehe... but then, i hav to face my own fear wif my Funky Groove!

i hav been watching the rest of the groups, they were REALLY GUD and i mean it. their styles r really smooth. but lucky it has a diff. cat. Cat1 is for 18 under, Cat2 18 above and Cat3 BBoy. hehe... but then they are still looking for the best dance crew to go to Las Vegas! that i want it. hehe... i want to go casue last competition of goin to Hong Kong was not approve. hehe... but nw im aiming LAS VEGAS!
now its Funky Groove's turn! OMG!!! once the host announced the name, we quickly went up tot he stage. ehe... yet, we all had fun! hehe...
after the performance, we were sooo happy wif the crowd level screaming to us. hehe... we didnt expect that this will happen. wif those last minute prac and briefing, it really PAID OFF! well... waiting for the result and then they called us to go the center for the results. WAH!!! FAST!!!

im soo happy the both Funky Groove and SAJ made it through the semi-finals!

Cross Country 2009

i went to Jurong Lake Park wif Farah, Qis, Min and Ammar. we met all of skoolmates at the bus stand at interchange, thats where we met Elli n some of the Nutz Crew. took photos there and here. reach the stop and still hav to walk to the place. i was like irritationg Rid while we were walking to the place. sooo FUNNY! hehe...

reached the place and alot of people were there. but luckily not fully. hehe... once i got the number tag, we went inside the shelter and seated in our House. and then started wif the briefing.

after that, the C Div Boys went to the starting line first, im inside too. we were warming up and streching for the race. once we were in position, our principle sounded the signal and WE WENT OFF!

"at first i was in the fourth position and then, came to fifth. continuosly, in fifth position. but sometimes the person infront of me was getting slow and sometimes the person behind me went first. lucky Ahmad came first after the run and i came fifth. i beat own position. last eyar was not that gud. i was sooo tired during and after the race. i even took off my shoes after the run and walked for awhile."

after all the people came back, the result was out. CONGRATES TO ROCKIES WHO CAME AS A CHAMPION! its ok ATLAS! lets continue prac and trained and we will get it!

i then went back home wif Farah, Qis, Jannah and Ammar. but Jannah went to the MRT to go home... so... onli the 4 of us. and met Muhaimin in the mid of the area where is nearer to the place. and then seperated!

reached home and SOOO TIRED! yet fun! but then i still hav dance prac later. but NVM!

Fever from Skool and then better

i was feeling giddy juz nw when i woke up for skool.
and then i thought that its goin to heal soon at skool.
and when i was walking wif my frends, i was feeling even more giddy.
lucky i didnt fall down or else... its a sign of sickness and i nid to go back home.

from the first to the fourth period of the my lessons, i was in the air-conditioner room.
causing my to feel more worst and TOO COLD!
i cant take the coldness inside.
i feel like i want to shout for warmness.
and then its my recess time.

and then, from my geo lesson to the last lesson, i was not feeling well.
during maths period, i took my temperature.
it was in 38.
OMG!!!
hehe... and then after i drank some water from my frends, the temperature decrease.

and then after skool, i hav CCA.
i didnt dance actually but helped wif the Sec1s.
their competition is getting nearer.
they nid alot of help.
but i was feeling much better that time... though there was some giddyness and headaches.

Nanu Frico Jen's Audition TIME!

juz nw was the day of the audition for the freak character from every group. hehe... im soo nervous and last minute for me cause i didnt go for the rehearsal for this one last monday. i was so embarrassed to them and "im sooo sorry".

anyway, all of us went to the learning room to showcase our freak character. every group has to show their character to the whole class. well... as u know that 'SheMen Slip Duo' is my character. hehe... but im scared for it cause the part of it is my worst weakness. i cant tell wad it was. but i dont want to show it infront of the whole skool.

soo... all of us were seated wif our own groups and the freaks were ready to go. my group was the second last to present. i dont know how it went but hopefully my group could make it. hehe... though i dont want to go through... but i hav to. casue my group members want to and im thinking about them also. sooo i juz accept.

after the whole presentation, the judges, our form and lit teachers, were impressed wif the whole class work and will reveal the result when the skool reopens. well... my group prayed hard and hope that we will get through.

DanceWorks '09 Prelims

DanceWorks!'09

the DanceWorks'09 Prelims competition is HERE! and OMG!!! the crowd was crazy! but... tis year's audience was not alot than last year. well.... hav advantage and dis... which were... "Confident but Scared da things may happen to me". hehe....

anyway, there were only... i think 30 more groups who joined the Cat 3. we were in no. 23... i think. doin make ups and everything until its our turn. i was wif my bro while walking to the stage to take out tat nervous in me. gathered together first and then, ITS TIME!

after the competition.... to be honest... FanKidz and FanGirls did a great job! but we still hav to wait for the results.

NANU FRICO JEN! I LOVE TO WORK WIF THEM! although there are sometimes arguments during the gathering and discussion, we still work together to find a way to solve those problems. hehe... to be honest... they are one of my top frends in my list of frendships. hehe...

anyway... we made it to the audition which is goin to be held on Wednesday.
we juz hav to rehears the script wif the costume.
we were all shocked and excited that our form teacher announced that we made it to the audition from our Lit Teacher.
we dont know who is goin to jugde ur for the audition,
but we hav to do our best to get that aiming that we want of rour project.
as long as we all work together,
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

all of the practices tat i had for this past few weeks... were not as gud as last time.
i didnt com most of the practices.
i dont know y im like thiz.
thats y i want to say sry for the group.
im not being sooo attentive now.

but hope that this will finish after the competition.
and then after that.... i will hav a nice long break for me.
seriously....
during the overnite practices... i was sooo sleepy and cant concentrate.

St. Joseph's Home

2E1 went St. Joseph's Home

my class went to St. Joseph's Home juz nw. its juz near my primary school. i mizz alot of thins from my previous skool. my frends, teachers, things and more.... and its goin to be in our CIP Project. since last we hav this kind of project. ITS FUN!

anyway, its my first time i went there even though i had seen the place since my primary skool times. this is goin to be fun! hehe.... but there was when some of the pupils in my primary skool times went there to help out. but i was not one of them. i dont know y... hehe.... but i want to that time.

continue to the event, when we reached to the place, we went to the living room of the place and wait for our instruc to come. and then she came and asked us for help to unwrapping the tissues. there were not alot of tissue packets we did. we manage to finish them.

after the unwrapping thing, we got readyf ro our performance that we hav practiced at skool for two weeks. even though there were some arguements during the practices, we managed to finish it before the actual date. during the performance, one of the elderlies was smiling all the way and enjoying the song. i was soo happy seeing him soo delighted. and some of them were clapping all the way too. but i dont know about the overall performance that we did... but i know we did our best.

and then, we helped bring them to the place where they are goin next. and then after leaving them to the helpers in the room there, we started talking to the rest of the people outside the room. during the mission, i was having difficulty to talk to the elderlies cause most of them cant speak English. i felt really sry to them. i almost wanted to cry. one of them even sang as loud as he can to us. like he was showing his true talent of singing. that really made me wanna join along.

after the mission and getting alof of infos for our project, we went backt o the bus that we took to the place. one of them cried because of the touched stories that her elderly talked wif. hehe.... all of us really enjoyed helping them.

i learnt that we should help one another.
dont complain cause not all of us have the things that we hav now.

SYF Rehearsal at NUS

went to NUS for the Nuts Crew's SYF rehearsal... this will be held on 17 April.
juz to know how it feels like being on the stage and get used to it so that we will know where to stand and where to go.
and let me tell ya... the stage is sooo HUGE!
first time seeing this kind of stage.
hehe....

anyway... to be honest... we hav to run fast to get to our position.
and transferring from here to there is sooo difficult for some of us.
but then... the song is not a confirm one.
we might be changing some of it.
hehe....

after one or two full out stage run,
we were exhausted but still excited for the event.

cant wait for the SYF!
